We are a growing company… not because we are particularly trying to grow (we do no advertising to speak of), but because 1. Our customers are very satisfied with the high level of service we provide, and they keep referring other customers to us, and 2. the type of goods and services we offer are in increasing demand, and we are the leading company in our field. Small-scale sustainable/local food production is the movement of the future, and we are proud to be a part of it: equipping the farmers at the forefront of the movement and providing excellent service to back them up.

As we grow, we sometimes need more dedicated people here to “make it all work”… so positions open up or are created from time to time. CURRENT job opportunities are:

– General Manager position

This is a new position for us, as the “general management” has always been done by me (Joel, Earth Tools owner)…we are a relatively small company (15 or so employees), so “middle management” has not made a lot of sense. However, I have come to the conclusion that investing in the creation of this position will help a lot with lightening my workload, plus it will make it easier to transition to a different owner in the future (since I am not immortal!). This position will require LOTS of learning and training (and re-training, for the existing employees), but I believe it will be worth the effort in terms of the overall health and longevity of the business.
