For hauling loads around your property, one of these utility trailers will utilize the motive power you have available from your walk-behind tractor. As a “towed” trailer, you have the option of riding on the seat provided, or you can walk if the terrain is too rough (off-setting the tractor handlebars to one side so you can walk safely next to the trailer, or even reversing the tractor handlebars and using the tractor to “push” the trailer).
When moving loads in hilly terrain, the design of this class of implement makes it the best choice, for the following reasons:
A. The configuration of having the wheels of the cart way up in the front means that roughly half the load in the cart is borne by the tractor axle, thereby increasing tractor traction and control. B. Since these are used in the Front-PTO mode, when going uphill, the weight of the load is shifted back onto the tractor (driving) wheels, and traction and control are maximized.
Work (mowing) Sulky A “Work” sulky (also called ‘Mowing sulky’) can be attached to the larger BCS and Grillo tractors (tractors with differential and steering brakes) with the tractor in the FRONT-PTO MODE (hence the name: “mowing” sulky). Thus, the operator can ride during mowing operations, or with any other front-PTO-operated implement, such as a power sweeper, hayrake/tedder, fertilizer spreader, etc. The sulky attaches to two extension-hubs (included with the sulky) which mount to the the wheel hubs of the tractor (which is the “fulcrum” point of the machine), in order to not negatively impact the “balance” of the tractor/implement.
40” Rock / Landscape Rake
We have gotten a lot of requests for this over the years, so we’re finally offering it…this rake is produced by a USA manufacturer, and we’re adapting it to use with our Walking Tractors. 40” width, has 20 1”-wide tempered steel tines. The rake adjusts 24 degrees to the right or left with a simple pin.
This implement is utilizing the ground-traction of the walking tractor to do its work, so increasing the traction of the walk-behind tractor with wheel weights is highly recommended for best effectiveness.
ERREPPI Brand Driven-wheel utility trailer (Fits Grillo models G107 or G131 and the Barbieri “Leopard” walking tractors ONLY!) This system converts the Grillo models G107 & G131 or Barbieri Leopard walk-behind tractors into a 4-wheel drive off-road hauler capable of going almost anywhere and carrying almost a ton of payload. PTO drive to trailer runs off a “synchronized PTO” unit (optional on Grillo G131, standard on Barbieri Leopard) that bolts to the top of the tractor transmission (Note: on Grillo G107 and G131, this option is DEALER INSTALLED ONLY!
