Barnel Loppers and Shears
A High-quality lopper plays a significant role in the fast healing of a cut. This is particularly important when cutting and pruning fruit trees. The cleaner the cut, the faster the healing process is complete. Barnel loppers are known world wide for this superior cutting capacity; not only on fruit trees, but for clearing undergrowth and thinning hedges. The cutting blades on Barnel loppers are the highest quality available: Japanese Sword Steel. The counter-blade is drop forged to a sharp curved hook that grips the branch firmly and helps prevent slipping. Like Barnel pruners, the pivot bolt and nylon padded lock-nut are off-centered from the point where the blade and counter-blade meet. Thus the cut is clean - the wood is not crushed and the fiber is not bruised. Plus, the pivot bolt has the patented Barnel Easy-Lube feature. Replaceable rubber buffers stop the handles when fully closed. All parts on these professional tools are replaceable.

• Drop forged Barnel Bartanium™ alloy high carbon steel cutting blade and anvil. • Induction hardened blade edge for long lasting cutting ability. • Over-dimensioned curve in the blade and in the hook (anvil) pulls the branch into the cut. • Deep anvil sap groove cleans the blade after each cut. • Extra long tangs reach far into the aluminum handles to further reduce risk of breakage. • Aircraft alloy extruded aluminum handles, light weight, offer maximum deflection/spring back feature. • TPR (Thermo Plastic Rubber) extra large anti-slip comfort grips. • Center Oiler Bolt Technology allows for maintenance of the pivot without taking it apart and provides continuous lubrication during the operation of the tool. • Polyurethane bumper shock absorber provides long soft cushioning and is impervious to UV light, oil and moisture. • All spare parts are available for this series. • Made in USA

• Drop forged Barnel Bartanium™ alloy high carbon steel cutting blade, • Induction hardened blade edge to maintain optimum cutting ability. • Drop forged aluminum anvil - light weight yet super strong to support large cuts. • Soft aluminum liner - replaceable - provides a counter base against the blade to allow for severance of all fibers. • Patented ingenious shock absorber system inside of anvil - fully replaceable. • Shock absorber assures completion of the cut first then provides soft cushioning as the blade slows down to a gentle stop, thus alleviating the jarring of the joints and shoulders of the operator. • Shock absorber also automatically turns into an adjustable anvil and compensates for the change of angle in the cutting edge of the blade, and thus provides a guaranteed clean cut. • Compound action over a slide lever system offers reduced cutting effort compared to anvil loppers with a simple pivot joint. • Hardened, replaceable bushing protects the bolt inside the slide lever system from excessive wear. • Extra long tangs reach far into the aluminum handles to further reduce risk of breakage. • Aircraft alloy extruded aluminum handles, light weight, offer maximum deflection/spring back feature. Their special elongated shape with rounded ends compensate for extreme force exerted. • Anodized finish on aluminum handles, repels dirt, sap and fluids. • TPR (Thermo Plastic Rubber) extra large anti-slip comfort grips. • Dual Center Oiler Bolt Technology allows for maintenance of the pivot without taking it apart and provides continuous lubrication during the operation of the tool. • All spare parts are available for this series. • Made in USA

• Apply a thin coating of B-OIL to a clean blade and the outside of springs and moving parts daily, in order to repel moisture and to prevent oxidization or rust. • Inject B-OIL into the Barnel Center Oiler Bolt every second day, by depressing the steel ball in the center of the bolt head, to open access to the reservoir under the ball. Then gently squeeze the side of the bottle to force oil into the reservoir. • Apply B-OIL inside of rolled European style “barrel” spring and work the action of the spring, once a week, to repel moisture and prevent oxidization or rust. • Food grade, safe to use on tools, equipment and machinery, that come in contact with food and edibles. • Biodegradable, breaks down naturally. • Non toxic, non hazardous, safe to use around humans and animals, safe to ship on any commercial carrier. • Non flammable, non explosive, safe to use around humans and animals, safe to ship on any commercial carrier.
