BCS Model 853 walk-behind tractor

(Shown with Caravaggi BIO-90 High-Speed Chipper implement)

The 800 series BCS machines are currently our best selling BCS models, and the 853 walk-behind tractor is the best-selling of the 800 series. The 4-speed transmission and standard steering brakes make these tractors excellent for just about any task: Plowing, tilling, mowing, haymaking, transport and snow removal applications…and many others. The BCS 853 walking tractor is the 800-series variant that has the “transport” speed available in the “Rear-PTO” mode, so it is more popular for users who plan on using the machine more (or transporting the machine longer distances) with Rear-PTO implements or utility trailers. Plenty of horsepower to handle any implement we offer (Exceptions: The reciprocating spader and 33” tiller implements, which require the stronger PTO mounting of the model 750]. This size/class of walk-behind tractor represents the most versatile machine for all-around use, and is our most popular class of tractor. Standard wheels are 5x12x22” (other wheels available by request…we can discuss what would be best for your application). NOTE: As an “Earth Tools Exclusive”, we now offer this tractor with a “Steep-Slope” engine option: the Briggs Vanguard 14hp engine, which has special baffling in the crankcase that allows this splash-lubricated engine to operate on up to a 45 degree angle in any direction (other engines will operate at up to a 30 - 35 degree angle).

Comparable machine in Grillo brand tractor: Grillo G110
