Wood Splitters
Why have another engine around to maintain when you only use it a few times a year? The fit, finish and quality of components on these splitters are second to none, and your walk-behind tractor provides the power. One of the best features, of course, is that you can drive this splitter anywhere you want it with your walk-behind tractor! The tractor hooks to the splitter via a pivoting hitch assembly, to give the unit good ‘articulation’ for maneuvering.

BIO-80 Chipper/Shredder on Grillo tractor These tough units are built heavier than any engine-driven unit in their class: As an implement, the BIO-80 unit weighs 135 lbs, the BIO-100 weighs 217 lbs., and the BIO-150 weighs in at 278 lbs. BCS has purchased the BIO-100 size from Caravaggi (and 2 other “knockoff” vendors) in Italy and marketed it as their own since the late 1980s. BCS chooses not to import the other chipper sizes that Caravaggi produces, but that doesn’t stop us at Earth Tools from importing all the various sizes, to meet our customers’ needs better!
TRX50 Brush Chipper
NEW IN 2019!! Due to the popularity of the BIO-90 High-Speed Brush Chipper for larger walk-behind tractors, Caravaggi has now introduced a smaller model for mid-size walking tractors…the TRX50. This model is designed to work on walking tractors with 8hp to 10hp engines.
Like the BIO-90, the steep input chute angle plus the aggressive 2-blade design on the chipper flywheel makes it virtually self-feeding. You just put the stuff in the hopper and pretty much let go!
Caravaggi BIO-90 Brush Chipper
If you have lots of woody brush to deal with, and you have a 13hp or larger (11hp or larger if diesel) engine on your walk-behind tractor, this implement will get the job done FAST. The steep input chute angle plus the aggressive 2-blade design on the chipper flywheel makes it virtually self-feeding. You just put the stuff in the hopper and pretty much let go! Another great feature of this unit (and people have asked us for this feature for years on our Chipper/Shredder units, but the chamber designs of those models simply will not work with it) is a top discharge chute which will actually “shoot” the chips into a truck bed, wheelbarrow, garden trailer, etc.

Built by the Caravaggi company of Italy, this tough machine utilizes the PTO power of a walk-behind tractor to chop Straw or Hay Bales* (or loose hay, straw, or dry leaves) and blow it out either one OR two discharge ports.
